Fun on 30m

I had a good evening on 30m yesterday!
Got a few nice DX stations, notably YN4SU in Nicaragua, HI8A in the Dominican Republic and HK3CQ in Colombia.
I also heard VK6AU but his signal faded before I got a chance to call him as he was in the middle of a long QSO when I found him.
30m seems pretty dead during the day at the moment, just a few EU stations to be heard, but later on in the evening and into the early hours it really comes alive.
There is often some interesting DX to be found around the grey-line periods too!
I’m really happy with the performance of the WC30 Delta Loop antenna on the 30m band, even using less than half the rated output of the radio it still gets me through the pileups with ease.
